A winter storm currently developing in Alberta will track eastward across the Prairies to spread snow into Southern Manitoba on Thursday. The main area of snow will track through the parklands area of Western Manitoba..Roughly from Dauphin southward to Brandon..Then track eastward to cover most of the Red River Valley including the City of Winnipeg. By the time snowfall ends Thursday evening general snowfall amounts will be in the 10-15 cm range over most areas..With greater amounts expected over the higher terrain of Western Manitoba. This is a developing storm and further adjustments to the track and intensity may be necessary as the situation evolves. Stay tuned for further updates.
