Slow data on Rogers' network?

Anyone else on Rogers having insanely slow data speeds for the last several months? A year back it was do-able to stream internet (if the feed was 56k) with ease, browse websites with very minimal difficulty, send email.. but now on every device I try, it seems that the data speeds on Rogers EDGE are horribly slow, not only that, the ping itself is incredibly high. I tried about 5 speedtests today (and several others for the past few months), I've noticed that the ping rate is about 1000-3000 on average (instead of under 500 as it used to be), the download speed tends to be 1kbps-80kbps on average (instead of 100-150), upload's much faster.
Could this all just be because of network tension from all the people with data devices on the network or is it just me? I'm sick of paying for a data plan that doesn't even work. Sending an email with a 300kb photo is IMPOSSIBLE. If the new 3G network wasn't only several months away (sarcastic) and if I didn't have a data cancelation fee, I would have cancelled my data plan several months ago.
Hows data speed for you? Any speed test results on Rogers?
