Previous to now I have had few issues with MTS. But fairly recently, I have started having dropped calls all over the place. Downtown (using that tower). South central, presumably using the other tower (by the tracks). All over.
I have the call end, and the other person has an automated "Your call did not go through" message play out of nowhere.
I also notice that Superstore seems to now be almost entirely a dead zone. I remember it being a bit spotty before (usually would drop to 4G, which was almost always stronger than LTE). Not anymore, however.
When making a call today (and another yesterday to, come to think of it) I also noticed major fluctuations in the 4G signal strength. I am used to LTE almost alway being moderate to weak. But 4G everywhere is usually 5 or 4, minimum 3. Yet now it seems to fluctuate majorly. 5,3,1,5,4,2 . . . you get the picture.
I am no tech, but I would guess:
1.) My handset
2.)the transmission power was turned down on the masts for some reason
3.) The changeover is causing major congestion.
