I'm wondering what flashlight is the best? And where can I purchase one? The one I have know lights up as much as a candle, lol and I find it useless. New batteries don't even help!

Giant Tiger has some by the checkouts. Small, only about 3 dollars and very bright. Hopefully still there; that was a while ago.

I don’t have a specific one for you, but just head over to Can Tire and check out what they have. Grab an LED, they are brighter and batteries last longer. There are some variables that make it tough to recommend one, like size, weight etc. Do you need it to stand on its own, have a strobe function, fit in your pocket, etc.

I used to work at Dollarama, (changed jobs after almost 5 years working there), and they've got a few that are pretty good. They usually have a variety in stock, (if you go and there isn't, ask person working to call another to see if they have what you want), and all that I've known are battery, so you can get good prices with flashlights and batteries. If they don't work,(be it manufacturers fault), you can always go back and get same or something else for same or lower price.

They have a good selection of LED flashlights - compare the brightness with how many lumens they produce, choose your price point, and away you go!

If you really want a GOOD flashlight, one that will be the last flashlight you ever have to buy....get a Maglite! Yes, they are definitely more expensive than most, but they are by far the best.

I actually bought a great light from Dollarama! I can't believe how bright it is!

I have purchased Lights from Costco, just picked up a package of 3 for $21.00 . They are Duracell 500 Lumens. Great lights and even come with Batteries..
