Telling people with medical issues who can’t wear a mask to stay home is not fair as some of these people are often already socially isolated because of their condition. It is in our nature as humans to want to socialize or be around other people. That is apart of maintaining a our mental health. "
With the risk of being hated for commenting, here are some that I have heard of. Some people with asthma & PTSD (an often hidden mental health issue), and some with autism. There are also very young children who might not be able to. I have read of other conditions, and have posted about those elsewhere. There are not many who have these conditions in the greater population, but they exist and it is best to be aware and to be kind & respectful of those who cannot wear a mask.
I have stated before that I cannot wear one, but, I recently got a face shield from a place in Brandon that I can wear. I am so grateful to be able to have been given this as a solution. It will enable me to go out if I have to. Right now, with the agitated state everyone is in, that will certainly be rare as I don't want to be assaulted, even though I am trying my best.
