I have a window air conditioner I’m looking at getting repaired. Wondering where anyone went for theirs before and where/how much it costed? Thanks

It would be cheaper to buy a new one than get someone to repair. Most shop rates start at $65 plus an hour now to fix things and if it had leaked out the freon . By the time you pay for the freon or whatever it is they use and the labour you are likly two thirds or better of the cost of a new one. Just my opinion. Sorry To answer your question I do not know of a person that repair window air conditioner. Have you tried any appliance repair people? Maybe one of them will look at window ac.

Once took a window air conditioner to a shop on the south end of town-east side of l8th just a bit north of Little Chief's. I don't remember the name of the place and I don't know if it's still there. It was a higher priced unit and fairly new, the repair cost $150 at the time.

I had warranty work done at Ron’s Appliances for my portable air conditioner a few years ago

The most common problem is dirt buildup on the aluminum fins both front & rear. This will cause the compressor to cut out & the unit will blow hot air.  
The fins can be cleaned carefully with a vacuum or soapy water with a soft brush.  
As others mentioned more major repairs may not be worth the cost.
