I’m interested in changing out my kitchen counter tops. It is a small kitchen. Either that or replacing my whole bottom cupboards. Not sure where to start to either by or get a contractor. Looking for some help. Thanks for any suggestions.

We recently did a kitchen renovation & found Carpenter's Corner to be expensive. Instead we got Hevea butcher block at Windsor Plywood for the main counter top. Then found a nice quartz product for the island at Rona, at about half the price of Carpenter's Corner, plus the supplier had a remnant at a good discount. Price for the quartz i:ncluded delivery and installation.  
We are quite happy with both products.

Sorry, in my previous reply, that should be Contractor's Corner, not Carpenter's Corner.

We used them but about 10 years ago. Good at the time

Try Parkside Quartz they do an amazing job 1-204-841-3888 , and very affordable.

Places like Home Hardware Building Centre (18th) and McMunn & Yates on or around 10th & Richmond Avenue offer measuring and free estimates and good advice for countertop choices on any budget as well as installation options of contractors they recommend and can set you up with. Tracy is good at McMunn.  
 
South end Lumber (13th St) and Rona might also offer that as well. Home Depot I'm not sure about their personalized service and installers, so I can't speak to that, but there's lots of options out there with those kinds of places.
