I bought this last time at re-fit store in Brandon. It was cheap and I had a lot of it. But I don't know what it's for. It's made of yellow rubber-like material. It's very elastic and seems very durable. It's flexible, but it looks quite sturdy. Do you know what it's for? And I'm thinking of using it as half inch pipe insulation for my house. Do you think it's a good idea? Can I use it for my half inch pipe insulation?

yes. It is copper pipe.. I did put it.. I want to wrap copper pipe like this picture..

it's for a manual juicer. the juicer has 3 parts. the bottom part holds the water. the middle part holds the juice. the top top is where you put your fruit..and it is a steamer basket. the juice part (2nd pan) has a hole and a spigot, and thats where the hose goes and the the hose collects the juice and drains into a container...I used to have one, that's how I recognise it. you use it on the stove.

Wow, really? If that's a juicer part, I imagine it must be quite large. But since you seem to have used it on the stovetop, I'm a bit confused (I can't imagine that). Anyway, thanks for the information. Maybe This hose would be attached at spigot and the the hose collects the juice and drains into a container (this is just my imagination)

You would be way better off to purchase pipe insulation from a hardware store, and it's quite cheap. Rubber is generally not a good insulation material.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that type of hose was the old dairy farm my grandparents used to buy milk from, the milker hoses looked familiar to that, granted that was 30+ years ago and I was like 8 or 9 yo at the time
