So I called the city last week to report a few leaves that came back into the laundry room up thur the floor drain.  
I asked the city to check to see if they had slow moving line.... ( I did call a plumber first and that is what he recommending doing)  
I also asked the plumber for a quote and to schedule me in for Friday sept 11th,09 to install a backup valve. He said Yes.  
Now here is my problem.  
It is Friday and the Finished basement has 3" to 6" of water in it.  
To make matters worse I have the toilet backwashing into a newly finshed bathroom. It is dirty water and full of leaves. Yes tree leaves.  
Are there not 2 lines on the city underground system?  
any insight on this?  
p.s. I still called the plumber again, and still no reply.
