Learning "do it yourself" small building projects

Hi,
I'm interested in learning things like patching drywall and taping/mudding, hanging drop ceilings, finishing like baseboards, floor installation et al. (sounds like I'm finishing my basement)
What do you think are the best resources for learning how to do these "relatively" easy building skills.
