Painting house stucco

How hard of a job is this to do yourself?
The stucco is in good shape, I just want to change the colour. It's a light shade now and I'd be going darker, and it's a bungalow so not too tall.
Is there a lot of prep work involved? And what do you do with all the down spouts, utilities and wires and such?

Use the proper paint

Make sure you use special paint for stucco that has some sort of elastics in it. If you just use regular latex paint it will peel off.

but buy good quality paint. We used the best Behr paint we could buy,primer and paint in one. Said it would go on in one coat but we had to do touch ups in some spots. The stucco from the 70's was so pouras.

I used stucco paint put on with proper roller then followed with brush right after to get rid of paint bubbles
