Hello,  
 
So my husband and I are doing research on strollers! We're first time parents due in January! So we're just looking at all the different options and it's overwhelming!  
 
Our main priority is safety!(Lots of head and neck support). We want one that isn't difficult to fold up and take with us. Something that can go on gravel and pavement.  
 
Just not sure where to start looking! Any advice would be extremely appreciated!

i got the graco snug 35 click and connect travel system. it was easy to click baby into the stroller and car base. it has real tires and i got the jogging stroller one. you can push it with one hand and it goes on gravel and snow with ease. it has a cup holder and a little stash sport on the handle for mom with is awesome. also the car carrier is lighter without baby then most. i struggled finding one that didnt weight alot before you added baby. I might be willing to sell mine. pm if you like.

Go to toys r us and push the strollers around. you will find some are more comfortable for you than others and you might be surprised. Also, you're going to want real air filled tires. They go through snow, on gravel etc really well. We have a baby trend combo and love it! All carseats have to pass the same tests and there are ways to roll up receiving blankets to support the head. All those extra head supports and stuff they sell after market are actually not safe. Anything between baby and the carseat puts extra space in the seat which can cause extra give in an accident and the straps won't be tight enough. (just my 2 cents)Find what you like best, what you find most comfortable to carry around and to fold and unfold the stroller. Some are tricky and others are a one handed job which is nice! I love my bob! Definitely think about if you may need a double stroller in the future. Cheaper to do an add on instead of buying a whole new stroller.

I have a graco car seat with the jogging stroller combo. The car seat was nice and super easy to fit into the stroller. The stroller is heavy and bulky I found though. I went to West Coast Kids in Winnipeg (the downtown location) and found a baby jogger city select which I have taken everything with me!!! It folds up nicer than the graco and not as heavy! I wish I would have went to West Coast Kids first and seen what they have... they are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and let you try out any of their strollers/carriers/etc! Good luck!

I second going to West Coast Kids. They are amazing and so so knowledgeable about their products. We have a City Select stroller as well and love it. Started with a Baby Trend stroller and car seat and it was a lemon. We ended up with a Chicco Keyfit car seat which attaches to the City Select stroller with a special attachment piece. Love the car seat!
