new mom looking to get out of the house

hello, i am a new mom looking for some inexpesive things that i could do with my new baby to make the days go by. My husband is on the road alot so for the most part it is just the two of us. (just be nice to have more then a one sided conversation a few times a week!) he is only 3 months old, so still a little young for playdates.
any suggestions?
