oh goodness...pre-puberty! When did it start?

Well my DD is definately in (pre)puberty. Help! lol,
Emotional swings, drama, drama, DRAMA!! and (sigh) body changes....how the heck do you explain this to an eight (yes, 8 year old)
Just wonderin, how old your DD were (are) when they went thru this? How did you all handle it? PM my if you'd rather, but PLEASE give me some advice!
