Hello, my wife and I are recently proud parents of a lovely baby girl. It has been our dream come true. Our situation is this, we live in a one bedroom apartment, walk up (53 stairs) rather irrelvant info but whatever. We are in need of advice. We have a cat , that we have had for 9 years and as aforementioned we just had a baby. In effect we do not trust the cat around the baby. I know there will be people argueing on the cats behalf, but what for? If anyone was in our position would they not second guess the cat? We have to keep the baby in her bassinette beside the bed , we also have to close the bedroom door, to keep the cat out, so we are pretty hot 'locked in our room' All the while the cat bellows at the door to get in. To be sure we are aspiring that someone will read this and say , I will take the cat off your hands, the cat would come fixed and with all the neccessary cat paraphenelia, please help us out. If we had a house or prospects thereof we would for all intnese purposes keep the cat. We feel kind of guilty with this approach regarding our cat.
