These Moms mean, close minded or just shocked?

How would you react to this? As the mother of this child and as the mother of a child in the same class with this letter writer? The story goes back to last week when a little 5 year old boy was dressing up for Halloween. He LOVES Scooby Doo and didn't want to be Shaggy or Scoob or Fred. He wanted to be Daphne. So mom went and bought the costume for the little guy, and the story she tells is remarkable.
