We can adopt kids, pets etc…… Why not Grandparents?????  
 
This is an issue on my mind all the time especially during the holidays. My husband and I unfortunately do not have parents around anymore so our small kids are left without Grandparents. We’re a professional working couple with a stable household so this is not about money. We also have a wonderful support system of family and friends so our kids will grow up loved regardless.  
 
All that aside I still find myself wondering what they’ll miss out on. I have wonderful memories of baking with my Grandma, working on the farm with my Grandpa, going camping etc. Our friends kids talk about their Grandparents and the fond times they have. Grandparents are a true blessing and I find it sad our kids won’t get the opportunity to enjoy that aspect of life. ?  
 
So I wonder to myself……. Why not adopt Grandparents? Perhaps children like ours could bring joy to a couple who never got the opportunity to have kids or grandkids? Perhaps there are wonderful Grandparents out there that think the more the merrier!
