I am considering a move to B.C. for several reasons. However, I have never been there myself: the closest I have come is the Rockies. Yet I have been from P.E.I to Alberta and also lived in England for a time, so moving is not unfamiliar to me.  
 
But I have no idea what it is like out there and at this point really can't afford a visit there to "scout it out".  
 
I have done some research online and found that to buy a house is out of the question for me (heck, buying another house here is out of the question at my age)but rent isn't all that much more.  
 
There are many factors I will have to consider and the biggest one is how my boys would react to a move there.  
 
I would like anyone who has lived both in B.C. and Manitoba to maybe give me a comparison on here. I would like to hear how Manitoba and B.C. stack up vs each other to live in.
