How much do you pay a babysitter????

I have three kids. They have never had a paid babysitter. DO not know how much to pay a sitter. I would need the sitter for every Saturday for 8 hrs. I have seen on a few other discussions on here that the norm would be around 8 to 9 dollars an hour for three kids. Is this right? Just seems alittle high to me. Am I wrong?
Kids ages are 3,5 and 7.
