callus' on my sons feet

My son has a callus on both his feet. On the inside of his feet, kind of near the arch.
And i was wondering if anyone else's kids have ever had this? He just started getting them. And he has been walking since he was 9 months old (hes 18 months now). Does anyone know what it could be from?
I have an appointment with his pediatrician, but not till feb 25th to find out what its from. But i don't really want to wait.
