Has anyone spoken to a professional or looked into night terrors and sleepwalking? It says that it can be common in childhood between the ages of 4-8 but also that it can be psychological.
I myself sleptwalked right out of my parents house when I was my child's age. Several times. My parents would find me in the backyard.
My son has just recently started sleepwalking (which is actually why I'm awake at this moment) and actually tried to leave his dad's home last week, in the middle of the night.
Has anyone else noticed a pattern or looked into reasoning behind these?
My son had night terrors once in a while till he was 3 but thankfully grew out of them. I actually called HealthLinks in the middle of one night once when that was happening - kept him in his room with the door shut because he was unreasonable and getting physical with me. It was horrible.
Any experience, thoughts, information would be great.. meanwhile I'm still googling..
