I know for a fact that my room mate wouldn't be waking up for hours still, and there were a bunch of burnt noodles in the kitchen. Not even going to go on about how someone burns a noodle. But, I'm concerned."[/i]
I'm wondering if there's a larger issue here than just being inconsiderate and making noise.
1. Who's watching her child if he/she is up at 7:30, but your roommate won't be waking up for hours yet? Is the child unsupervised this whole time? Where is mom sleeping (i.e. on the couch while a toddler plays beside her, in her room while the child wanders the house, etc)?
2. The only way I can think of you can burn noodles is if you leave them unattended. Is she falling asleep while cooking? Are you at risk for a fire in the home?
There's more questions that need to be asked besides "please don't do laundry at 3 a.m.". " |

These are some of the things I'm concerned about. I am not so sure that I am safe. Especially when I've seen her consume alcohol on other occasions and lash out against herself. While her child has been under care with someone else.
I know she's suffering in a large way, which is why I don't feel its right for me to take this too personally, but I have taken steps to remove myself from the entire situation.
To answer your questions:
1. Her child was in her crib.
2. I am probably at risk, yes. If the case was, that I'd been able to sleep. Given that the laundry machines rumble my walls, and she continually slamming doors around the house. Because that's 'how she opens and closes the doors' but only when she isn't just putting her baby to sleep.
So yeah, please don't burn down the house. Would seem to be a worthwhile admission, but I can only imagine.
Thank you everyone.
