Any fun ideas of things to with kids for mothers day? Looking for low cost ideas for some things to do outside of the home.

Depending on the ages of the kids, let them pack a picnic lunch and take mom to the park, or even the backyard and sit on a blanket and have a lunch the kids prepared themselves. Fun time pottery is a place they could create something together but I don't know the cost. Let them each pick out moms favorite flower from the flower shop and present them to her. (A single long stem rose is around $5) If you have a child that is a bit older, let her paint mom's finger nails and give her a homemade facial using honey & oatmeal. You an google homemade facials. A couple ideas for at home and a couple for an outing. Just a few off the top of my head..

Grab some cheap acrylic paint and canvases from the dollar store and take a walk to the park or somewhere scenic and paint. If its raining there are online videos of painting tutorials you could follow.
