In what world is this enough time?? I don't care what the law says or what lawyers agreed to it or whether the girl was related to him, how is this ok???

He will likely get abused himself. Thats where the true punishment begins.

No matter the sentence, it is not enough. As to those who think they will get abused, and or killed in prison, they need to stop the wishful thinking. The prison system protects these scum. He will serve out his prison system in comfort.

Well he's actually going to prison for seven years, not jail. Jails only for 2 years less a day sentences. He`ll have a rough time in Stony Mountain and as he should.

They will more than likely put him in solitary for a bit. Or keep him out of the general population areas. It's sad but here in Canada, prisoners get protected more than you would think. TV shows and the states have really messed with people's perception of how prison works.

No, he will not. He will be protected. Never in general pop. He may be lonely, but he will be safe. Because being lonely is enough punishment for what he did. And in case it is not clear, that last statement is DRIPPING in sarcasm.

if you never worked in a prison or a jail and never have been in prison or jail how could you say how the guy will be treated inside.

He will be rehabilitated. Give him another chance to ruin a kids /toddler life.  
 
How do we keep giving these people more chances to re offend.  
 
Certain criminals should be given no chance to reoffend. Keep em locked up or six feet under. How can they keep trying to reintegrate repeat child molesters into society and hope things will turn out nice ?  
 
A judge decided this offender should be given another chance. Well, here is the result. Try explaining to the kid/toddler why a grown adult was allowed to do injustices to her repeatedly.  
 
Hopefully he will be taught a life lesson in Stony.

it is a pretty well known fact that child abusers do not get put in with the general population in jail. They may be criminals in jail, but they very much dislike child abuser's.  
 
In saying that, it is too bad he won't be put in general population.
