I was outvoted again and so we have another cat. The first one, Dori, was named for her lack of short term memory. She will quite often forget that it was she that came to you for attention and get mad at you shortly after you start petting her or scratching her behind her ears.  
 
Now we have another kitten. Granted he is a cutie, but unfortunatly deaf as a post. We have to constantly monitor the two of them because while Dori will be puffed up to twice her size and growling and snorting all kinds of warnings to the kitten to say away, the kitten of course is deaf so continues to play in that kittten way.  
 
I can forsee all kinds of problems that will need attending to but figured if there was anyone out there who had experience keeping a deaf cat, might offer some advise that perhaps I had not thought of.
