Tractive

I have a Tractive for my little house dog. My sister also has one for her large farm dog. We both like them. If we are out in areas without great cell reception, it isn't always fabulous of course (but no tracker would be). My sister had the company replace the tracker once due to it getting wrecked on the farm, and customer service was really good. When I signed up, I forgot to use the 'refer a friend and get a couple of months free', and when I contacted the company about it, they gave it to my sister without any problems at all.
I used my tracker to locate my dog once, when I couldn't find him on my property (I live on 7.5 acres). He had followed his nose to a dead animal that was between our bushes and the canola field. I was in the garden and thought he was with me. Without the tracker, there was literally no way that I would have located him. By the time I got to him, he had gotten confused and was out in the canola field. The canola was far too tall to locate a small dog in it. He is a rescue who was found running loose, and he has separation anxiety. I hate to think of how awful it would have been if I hadn't been able to find him right away. And yes, he is now tethered when he's in the garden with me!
