They all, so my kitty is constipated all of a sudden. I have been reaching out to vets to see the cost to bring her in, get an X-ray and such but until I hear back is there anything I can do. I’ve taken away her dry food and made sure she’s got lots of water a clean box and a quiet space. I believe the problem is pretty close to the entrance/ exit as her little hole is partially open. I don’t want her in pain but I don’t want to manually help her out. Is there anything I can do in the mean time ?

Hope your kitty feels better soon. You can pick this product up at Grand Valley. Not sure if other vets have it, but maybe. Ask them how much to give when you pick it up.

I had a cat with that problem. Making sure they drink lots is important. Sometimes I would give him juice out of a can tuna or sardines to entice him to drink. The vet also suggested I give him an 1/8th of teaspoon of Restoralax in his wet food daily.

Hi, you should probably wait for a reply from your Vet but one of our 3 (5 years old) struggles sometimes so has been on about 3/4 tsp pumpkin powder twice daily. Plus we add a bit of water to his canned. Gets mostly canned food. We get the pumpkin powder @ Pet Valu but other places may have too.

Thanks for all the concern. She still hasn’t gone but she’s acting a bit more normal. I’ve given her some of the oil the vet gave us and she has an appointment Thursday because I’m not waiting for the weekend and an emergency visit.

Kitty is doing better though a bit traumatized cuz no one really likes to be dis impacted ,  
sent home with meds and hopefully we can keep this from happening again.
