I just want to remind everyone about pet safety.  
 
It's that time of year again where ice is developing on the river. Although some pets love the water and may be accustomed to playing in the water and drinking from the river as they have all summer, it is not safe for them to be near the river at this time of year.  
 
Although we are still experiencing some plus temperatures, the water is very cold and it can overtake even the strongest pet very quickly.
