Worried Dog Owners...

Our family has had a rottie for 4 years, is a great family dog, have had no problems whatsoever. We enjoyed this one so much, we thought we would get another. We got another one bred from the same mother as our first one, but a different father. We've had him for 8 months and he is 102 lbs already, much bigger than our other dog. He's a good dog, Knows all basic commands, very playful and happy,is great with our children and family members who have known him since we first got him. In the last two or 3 weeks we have seen signs of aggression towards anyone new that comes to our home and towards people when we are out walking him. We are now worried about this behavior, and find that we are hesitant to have people over, and have told our children not to have their friends over until we figure out what to do to resolve this. We are responsible pet owners who want to do the right thing and do so before anything bad happens. We have spoken to a good large dog trainer and they said that sometimes if two aggressive dogs breed it can result in a dog who is very aggresive and even with alot more training, there is not alot you can do about it, and its that is like having a loaded gun waiting to go off. We love our dog very much and are just trying to find out if someone has any suggestions or thoughts on what we should do and maybe have had a dog like this.
