should i be a dog groomer???

I was wanting some advice.
I live in rural western Manitoba, am expecting a baby and would like to start a home based business. I have always thought about being a dog groomer(love dogs). I just don't know if there is enough demand for this type of business in rural Manitoba.Also thought of boarding as we live on a farm.
Please let me know what you think or maybe what you may have heard.
