I live in the country and am planning to get an outdoor mouser...(don't worry I have no problem in finding a kitten)  
what I'm in debate about is training this kitten to stay only on my property..my neighbours are right beside me and will shoot it if it goes onto their property (or even too close to it:S)  
I debated installing an underground fence but I don't like the idea of shock training and that's all i've been finding so far for these fences..  
so any other ideas? how did u train ur cat (which prefer to be untrainable) to stick around?
