I put him up on ebrandon for everyone to have a chance. And I don't know why people aren't reading the whole post. It's not the first time he's attacked, they were in separate rooms and he came ATTACKED and BIT her. We do do some submissive training like eye contact and making him show his belly and neck. He gets his food measured because he's food aggressive, if left with food in his dish he growls at everyone but me. And he's crated at night and while away because otherwise he knocks over the garbage and eats it.

It's not your fault. Sometime a dog can't change their habits. I would try rehoming Romeo with no cats /and dogs. I rehomed an female aggressive dog a few years ago to no animals or kids. Kijiji winnipeg and ebrandon and brandon&area pet corner on facebook would help! You might have a hard time putting a dog down at the vet unless he was attacking people and absolutely no one would take the dog cause he was too aggressive. Since he has attacked before, you are his second home and sounds like you were able to control the dog for over two years so he might not be hopeless ... Try to find a home first before you make that choice! Good luck! Ps: how big is he? He looks small with lots of mixed breeds

Is a funny looking boy I'm around 5"5 and his head is mid thigh. He's got a big dog body with short little legs. His left front foot is twisted due to a conformational deformity. And was hit by something last winter and has gluten allergies.  

Why would you put he's okay with cats when that's the reason you're getting rid of him?! That's just going to cause more issues for the next owner. Be 100% honest so that he can actually find a home that he will fit into.

I said generally okay since up until this point he has been around cats and never attacked them. He grooms them and plays with them

I think you could find a home for Romeo. Kijiji Winnipeg is probably your best bet. Make an ad. Sounds like he is loyal to you but is mean to others. It is sad but maybe you can find more training but if you have to rehome then rehome. For everyone who is judging ... Take her dog if you are so concerned

A vet will put your dog down if you say he/she is aggressive. Not saying this is right but you can find someone who will. I would try rehoming first. Give him a week or so. Make ads and write on Facebook. Don't give up

There is no way a person can tell a story online. Was there a  
human disagreements involved in the home  
by chance? Your dog is very sweet looking. Even though they seem to have the devil inside, a dog is the product of a perhaps a disruptive home. Just like kids, they live what they learn.  
 
I still think maybe you are not a proper a pet owner with  
your title of Euthanasia. Re-Home the dog.  
 
I cannot say for sure, but I have seen this before and the pet doesn't suit the family.  
It's not the dogs fault.  

And then I seen your ad. Saying the dog is okay with cats and reading this post just makes me mad. Why set the dog up to fail? You're getting rid of it because it was aggressive towards a cat! I agree be honest with anyone wanting him. Arguing about him being okay with cats sometimes is not the point at all. If he has a fair chance in a home without other pets perhaps they will actually keep him instead of rehoming or getting put down for something they weren't properly warned about.

I can't stop thinking about this poor dog, just wondering if u have had luck finding a new home? Or if you have called FFFF or the humane society?  
I would take him if I could but my dog has to many medical issues and we can't afford another pet.

Any luck?

He found a home with a lady who has no kids or pets and runs her business from home so hopefully he gets everything he needs.

So happy to hear this unfortunate fiasco has a happy ending. Thanks for giving Romeo the opportunity for a second chance. It sounds like he got a great home. I wish him all the best.
