I work with a non profit organization and the club is looking at purchasing a PA system for events. Nothing fancy is needed, it is only to talk over to give awards and such. No music or anything. I guess it could be an option but not required. Is there anywhere that anyone knows that would sell this equipment that is decent to deal with? I have been checking eBrandon, Kijiji, local sound places, and the local yellow pages but not really having much luck. What I have been told to look for is a couple speakers, stands, a couple mics (but we can buy these anytime) mixing board and amp. Looking online many amps and mixing boards are combined which is perfect. It will be used both indoors and outdoors for crowds of about 200-300 people. Oh and want to keep it under $1000 for total package. That is the high end of the budget.

check out ted good. if you just want to announce awards rent from them. We rented a great speaker and mic for very little money for an outdoor wedding best sound I have ever heard at an event

Specializes in providing solutions for these types of situations, seriously call. We are only ever interested in making sure the systems we sell work, consistently. Many years of real world experience and access to some products you will not find anywhere else in town.

Over the years I have used equipment from BenMark Sound as well as Ted Good. Our organizations were very pleased with the professionalism of each of these businesses. BenMarc had a used system which they sold to us for a very reasonable price. On another occasion we rented a system from Ted Good.
