    Hi, must make a quick money transfer to my son who has money coming to him from the death of his grandmother.  
    Which bank will give me the best rate on american to canadian funds and back again. Thanks so much

    What is your back doing now for you? It usually works on what the US dollar exchange will cost you. I think all banks will change the same.

    Royal used to offer the best in exchange rate from Canadian to American.

    You are wanting to convert American to Canadian funds and then convert the Canadian funds back to American once it's been transferred?

    American to Canadian and back to American again? You will lose a LOT on fees. Why not just keep it in American? Transfer from American account or bank draft, cheque? Ask you bank but I think you will lose a lot of funds this way.
