    Anyone using quickbooks?

    I am debating if I should switch from tracking my accounts from basic excel sheets to a program like quickbooks.  
    Just a bit of background information, I do not have extensive receivable and payables, just very small scale.  
    Would quickbooks be too much of an overkill or is it worth making the switch?

    Quickbooks is very user friendly and if you don't need the payroll feature is quite reasonable in price.

    Is a great program it does everything for you need. And it does pay roll not bad you just need Internet. It does inventory as well.

    Quick books has two options when you purchase. With or without payroll.  
    It is expensive at 300 or more for both.  
    I found since I don't need the payroll option. I purchased a program called sage 50.  
    Sage isn't as user friendly as quick books.  
    If you have basic accounting knowledge it will work for you.  
    But the program is only 120 dollars.

    You could check Wave software. It seems simple and I think it is free to use and if you use payroll it is $10 + $4 per employees which is way cheaper than quickbooks
