Anyone know what new franchise is going in there now?

We just received one and never had a chance to use it yet. Does anyone know if they are going to come good for in used ones or if the franchise is moving if they would be accepted at new location?

This is why I don’t like gift cards. If you are giving one to someone, just give money. It is good everywhere. Same as Tim card, think about how much money Tim’s is holding and collecting interest on and have guaranteed sales.

I pitty anyone who tries to open a restaurant in this town. It takes a ton of cash and hard work and Brandon is an extremely judgemental city. Just look at all the snotty comments on here anytime something new opens.  
 
Think of all the restaurants that have come and gone over the years. It's sad that Brandon is an Applebees and Montana's city. Those places are always lined up which is very hard to understand.  
 
Browns was great and it was a mistake to change it. Despite all the rumours about ownership and mistakes made it was still a really nice place to go. What a shame

Wheat city bar and grill wasn’t a franchise. It was locally owned. Some of the staff/manager will be going to Astoria pizza. But this actual restaurant is done and not moving.  
Astoria Pizza bldg is owned by the same owner as this one though. On bdnmb fb post, they said they would ask if they’ll accept wcbg gift cards at Astoria, but they haven’t posted an answer so it’s not confirmed if they will yet..  
So hang on to it, just in case.
