Is there any bylaws regarding parking a trailer/camper on street detached from vehicle?  
 
I've found a vehicle isn't permitted to remain in same spot on street without proceeding thru nearest intersection within 48hrs but nothing in regards to a trailer.

I believe it is a 48 Hour time limit for anything parked on the City Streets to be moved.

I wish this bylaw was enforced. some campers sit on the streets with the power connected to the house for weeks on end. Lakeview is bad for campers.

Becoming quite familiar to see campers left on the streets. Imo, it’s dangerous. I can’t see traffic coming from the right side in front of the camper and some of them such as 5th wheels are actually being supported by their stand. I am not trying to be a nit picker but these should be at a suitable storage facility like I have to do with my camper when I’m done.

What do you mean supported by their stands? That's the only way to support them is by the front legs.  
 
Anyways my purpose of post was more wanting to leave my trailer detached from truck overnight once or twice a year.

Your answers can be found in Section 35 (m) 4 & 5. Looks like the camper is fine if hooked up, but not if left unhooked on the street overnight.

35 GENERAL STANDING AND PARKING PROHIBITIONS  
Unless specifically required by other provisions of this By-law, or by the direction of an Officer to do otherwise, it shall be an offence for any person to stop, stand or park, as follows:  
 
(m) a truck or other vehicle on a street in any residential area designated and zoned as such under "The City of Brandon Zoning By-law", as amended, between 2200 hours and 0700 hours, where:  
 
(1) the gross vehicle weight of which exceeds 5773 kilograms (12,727 lb.): or  
(2) the length of which exceeds 10 metres (32.79 feet) in length alone or in combination with other vehicles attached thereto: or  
(3) the vehicle has a passenger capacity, inclusive of the driver thereof, of more than sixteen (16) people: or  
(4) the vehicle is a trailer, licensed or unlicensed, and the trailer is disconnected from any other vehicle: and  
(5) fifth-wheel recreational trailers, other recreational trailers, motorhomes, and buses which have been converted into motorhomes are exempted from this subsection so long as these recreational vehicles are so parked for less than 48 hours, are unoccupied and, in the case of trailers, are connected to a motor vehicle:

Thanks. I knew I could with it attached but was unsure about leaving it stand alone. That clears it up.

My understanding is yes. It however must have either valid insurance or a minimum of lay up insurance or it is considered derelict, you can also obtain a derelict permit from city hall. Unregistered vehicles are not permitted however even on your own private property in the city.

What are your people on the street like? If you are parking it on the street unhooked for a day or so before the weekend to pack it up people on our street could care less. Now if I was to leave it all summer between camping trips....then they would complain.

Great neighbors no concern either them at all. More or less worried about the by law lady with the quickest ticket writing hand in mb.  
 
I'll just continue to leave it attached to my truck for the odd night I need to leave it on street.

I wish construction companies would keep their trailers off residential streets. The trailer in my area blocks drivers on the street and drivers coming out of the lane from seeing each other. Brilliant. If the city doesn't care about that, you'd think at the very least they would tell them they can't store construction materials on the sidewalk and road. Nice. Maybe the 48 hour bylaw goes for anything, not just things with wheels.
