They just need to leverage their relationship with the party responsible for the ramp/lot/road. This isn't limited to just fast-food joints, but really needs to be expanded to business lots in general.
Public pressure from the customers is, sadly, usually the only way to kickstart a process that (in my opinion) should occur naturally where the businesses and property owners work together to ensure that the property is in acceptable condition. This would includes performing upgrades as-needed to accommodate expanded traffic as well as basic maintenance.
-McDonalds' lot in Neepawa is in a reprehensible state.
Giant Tiger/McDonalds' access ramp to Vic, needs different design curbing, and also just needs to be dug-up and replaced to address the underlying asphalt spalling every single spring. While they're at it, put an exit to 26th st from there to alleviate the Vic exit, reduce traffic thru the Clay Pot lot, and discourage left-turning onto vic which would be safer, I always go around the block by Massey if I need to go West from this place.
The Keystone Center grounds... might as well grind it up to gravel, would be safer on vehicles and less embarrassing for the visitors to our city who must endure it.
Sobey's West end - it's come a long way with recent repairs... but took entirely too long and still has crappy curbs onto Centennial
Timmies/PetroCan/Quizno's on the hill, just wow!
Worst ever candidate: just you TRY to go through the lot at Subway in Melita! You could easily damage an RV or low car .
