Ok. We all know that snow is here and coming down pretty decent. Can we all turn our driving into winter mode please. That means giving enough time to slow down so slamming on your brakes and skidding to a stop creating ice doesn't happen. Pressing the gas to the floor when trying to go only creates ice, it doesn't make you accelerate faster.

And clean the snow off your windows..that causes accidents too..lazy people!

We will get the people, which seems to be most, that forget where the lanes are on 18th street southbound between Park and Richmond.  
 
Mind you, too many people have problems with lanes in summer time too.

Brandoners are awful drivers in warm weather, so this thread will likely fall on deaf ears. Just saw a Jeep that flipped over onto the jogging path on 36th street, looked like it had some kind of collision with a red car. Driver put other drivers and walkers on the path at risk, right at the same hour school kids are out there walking around. Selfish and stupid.  
 
I wish Brandoners would learn how to drive at a steady speed (instead of fluctuating between 30 and 50 for no reason), use their signals well ahead of their turns, stop cutting people off by rolling through red lights and stop signs to turn into a street, and have some basic awareness.

remember the cars are driving on icy conditions and can't stop as quickly as on dry pavement, even if they are driving slowly!

Now that we have daylight savings time, why in the world do we have people not having their tail lights on when its practically dark at 5pm!

Soo true... I have flashed highness to people to turn their lights on, don't understand that.  
 
And forget about 5pm. This morning at 730am, there was a white prius in 1st street with no lights on.  
 
I thought all newer cars have auto headlights.?

Was what we had in summer. We are now on Central Standard Time. No matter the time of year there are always those driving in the near dark or snow or fog without lights on.

I have winter tires on my vehicle and even I was struggling to get going when the lights would change from red to green thats how icy it was. I felt so bad for the guy behind me when I was trying to turn northbound onto first from Vic around 5pm. Out of all the turns I had to make, that one was by far the worst! I just couldn’t get any traction there. I honestly can’t believe how fast some people were driving today it’s no wonder there were so many accidents. I am glad I was able to make it home safe and sound. I just hope the sanding trucks do a good job tonight or I refuse to leave my house tomorrow.
