I was supposed to go to Winnipeg today for an appointment. Anyone been on the highways at all.

Are very heavy lots of snow. I wouldn’t go now. But plows are out so probably later this morning should be alright

Off topic but just wanted to get this off my chest lol.  
 
Mb need to get with the times. I love Alberta's setup for road maps. Not only are they frequently updated you can see the actual location of the snow plows and which direction they are heading.

I drove to Macgregor and back last night (between 6 and 9). Was 1 lane pretty much while way, sometimes right lane, sometimes left lane, sometimes middle. Hwy was icey but not so bad you couldn't drive. Did 70 to 80 most of the way. On way there visibility was worse then way home. If we were doing that 70 to 80, just stayed a nice line. Few times got behind people that didn't feel safe and doing 50. That's when it got worse as semis then wanted to pass and made it really white out and narrow as most times not much of a passing lane. Plows were out.  
Driving westbound was definitely better for majority of the trip. Camp hughes rest stop to brandon was really bad. Foot of snow in passing lane.
