There has been a smaller jet aircraft circling the Souris area for at least the last half hour at a fairly low altitude...civilian/military? Any thoughts, seems to have moved on as posting this.

I heard there is a military exercise going on in the area.

when I was on #10 going past the airport & saw this Lear jet being FORCED onto the tarmac by two fighter jets! I had stopped for safety because the plane was so low & it scared the you-know-what out of me when the fighter planes swooped in. The Brandon Sun reported the next day that the Lear jet pilot wasn't answering the airport tower & since this was mere days after 9/11 the army had mustered two jets to intercept "just in case".

It was more than likely an Alpha Jet from Top Aces. They are often in the Brandon area doing training with troops from Shilo.
