Today on my way downtown I spotted a young girl with a juice stand selling it for donations for Camp. I didn’t have any cash on me , so as I was going to the bank anyway I decided to get a little extra so I could help. On my way home I stopped and asked how much she needed and how much she had, she wasn’t exactly sure. Turns out she wasn’t doing it for herself it was for her brother whom has a medical condition. The look on her face when I asked if 20 dollars would help was priceless. She asked if I was “Serious”, I said of course. This act of selflessness by a young member of our community gives me hope for our youth. So, if you’re out and about and you see her on the corner, stop and have a chat and see your way to giving her what you can. That’s all I can type because my eyes are welling up with tears.

I like to hear of peoples’ acts of kindness. It reminds me that I should do more of them myself and that there is a measure of positivity in this world. I don’t understand why anyone feels the need to belittle this with sarcasm. Have a good day everyone,

I'm not sure how I was offensive. I was saying good job for helping out and giving a little more info on the story as I knew the family that was putting it on. Clearly there are some overly sensitive people on here. Next time I will do better or not even bother posting. Have a wonderful day!!
