to GasBuddy, many places in Winnipeg are also at 94.9.
It's a race to get to above $1.00 it seems, though we are currently back at our pre-COVID price. Didn't take long for it get back to 94.9. It took a few months to get to 74 and within a couple weeks it's up 20.
I'm sure there is some BS story as to why. There is always a lag from when the price of oil goes down, but instant when oil goes up. Oil is still only $33. When do we get the effects of when oil was below $5? There is no mass travel now, so there shouldn't be any drain on supplies. As for delivery, most of it comes from the west of us like Regina. So we should be cheaper here in Western Manitoba than Eastern?
The only reason is because they can and we will pay it.
