Roger said "Not that I know what house arrest feels like for the simple reason is I have never been under such a curfew. With not being allowed to buy or validate tickets now in person it will be the first time in almost 2 years that I will not be getting at least a free play cashed in on a western 649. I have play 48 of the 49 numbers every draw now for almost 2 years . Pretty much every draw I win a free play at the least. I save all the winnings in the month then spread them out over the next month. "
I'm sympathetic to the feeling of "house arrest" (I think we're all there right now!), but lottery tickets are entertainment. Right now, lots of entertainment isn't happening, or simply restricted to what you can do in your own home/space.
I know lots of people wonder "what the harm is I do this?", and when it's one person there probably isn't any harm. It's when it's hundreds, or thousands of people doing something in an era where we have a potentially deadly virus that spreads via personal contact.
We need to save those contacts for what's critical - caregiving, kids going to school, people buying essential items to maintain life, health and hygiene.
