I noticed yesterday in Superstore (between 12-1:30pm), I witness several elderly people walking around and shopping by themselves, and going through the tills by themselves, and bagging their own food by themselves, while using their canes/walkers.
During the same time, I counted 13 families, husband, wife, child, shopping together. One would be pushing the cart with the child, the other grabbing groceries. My boyfriend and I always have one of us stay home with the kids while we shop. I would LOVE to have him with me, as it makes going through the till easier (sucks having to bag up groceries for a household of 4 and the next person in line and giving you the "look" for not going fast enough).
I was really disappointed that these families could not follow the rules, and it makes it tough for the emoloyees, as if they say anything to stop them, a person may become agitated and make matters worse.
But this wont stop if people do not start following rules
As much as I see both sides of the fence, and am tired of COVID and the rules, I would love to be able to visit family/friends some time soon!
