There is a person going around the neighborhood asking for money foe unicef. Pretty sure that it is a scam.

UNICEF is canvassing in Brandon currently. BPS is aware of this and can confirm it. Also, the UNICEF website indicates that they are canvassing for donations here:

I had a canvasser come to my home on Wed, and they were wearing ID tags which easily identified them. I can't say who came to your place, but the canvassing is legitimate.

Anyone with a computer and printer can make up “real” badges and “real” receipts.

I wouldn’t open my door for anyone. Unless specifically asked them to come.
