I want special treatment.

I am a Tall Woman. There’s quite a few of us out here: according to Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height , the average height (in 2005) of a woman in Canada is 5’4 ½. So by this definition, if a woman is taller than this, she’s Tall.
We certainly don’t get the treatment and recognition we deserve. Shopping for well-fitting clothes is a nightmare. Riding in small cars is cramped! I sometimes have to stoop if I’m in, say, a camping trailer. My neck gets sore looking down at short people when I have to talk to them.
I believe Tall Women should be segregated to maintain their integrity. Why should we have to mingle with shorter people? I believe that if Tall Women everywhere don’t band together and form a clique of Tall Women, there’s a distinct possibility that, come future generations, there won’t be any Tall Women anymore. Dear me, what would happen if we married short men and had short children? Can you imagine the chaos? This thinning out of the ‘Tall’ gene is unacceptable.
I would like a “Tall People Only” community. If any of the Tall People who live there choose to leave and move elsewhere, well then the communities in which they make their new home should bend over backwards to accomodate them. For example, we should have separate schooling for our Tall Children, so they don’t have to mingle with the short kids while they’re growing up. If it causes a great inconvenience to the locals, well, that’s life. Shrug it off and move on. Things may get a bit ugly, but the government can offer incentives and toss some money at the the decision-making locals to keep them happy. A bit of money can go a long way in quashing uprisings! It will all blow over. Can’t people see that it is a benefit to all, really, to cater to the Tall People in their communities? More Tall Women = more government funding. Bam, everyone profits. Sort of. All that extra funding will trickle down...well, somewhere.
Did you know that most Tall Women make more money than their shorter counterparts?
http://www.prokerala.com/news/articles/a127994.html It’s true. And rightly so. Being Tall is special, and I deserve more consideration than the others who aren’t Tall. Tall Women should be given job priority in the careers we choose, preferably a nice cushy government job. We belong in places of power so we can help make decisions that will further our cause.
I expect government funding to cover my needs. I may be in the minority, but hell, I’m special and if enough Tall Women voters complain loudly enough, people in power will listen.
