I've gone to Prairie Firehouse a few times and I love their food, the atmosphere and live entertainment.. but yeah, it can be too loud, but most pubs can be.
I find it a bit too pricey for me so it won't be my "go to" pub (no pub will get that nod) with friends. I wish they would introduce a beer menu already because their beer prices keep changing every time I go there. One day it's $5.50 per 12oz glass, another it's $6.50, another it was $8.00.. The price is a bit too excessive for broke me, but I'll still go because the food is decent, the service is good, aside from PBR, they have only craft beer on tap (Fort Garry, Half Pints, Farmery and Unibroue's Blanche de Chambly) which is always sure to please my taste buds.. but likely not the Bud Light people in this town. I wish the success, and can't wait to see what patio season will bring for the restaurant!
