Does anyone, maybe you Adam, know what the percentage election turnout in Brandon Souris was for regular and advanced. For the first time I saw no lineup and walked right up to my polling station in a very populated area, usually very busy. So now we have a liberal fed govt and likely a lib prov govt due to Winnipeg, and the good ole conservative rural area, Brandon included, will have no reps and be left out of the ballgame. Sometimes we need to vote for the party, not just the candidate.

How do you know they weren't voting for the party??

I think they are eluding to is the fact that some people say "so and so is running in this election. I like them so I am going to vote for them" I agree that someone being personable is definitely a factor but sometimes we have to look at the big picture when casting our votes as well. Just my opinion, I could be way off.

I don't see the Liberals putting up much of a fight provincially. Much bigger concern would be Winnipegers sticking their head in the sand and voting in another NDP government.

We need to start a "anything but Selenger" campaign .
