while i agree food, water and shelter are the basics withholding medical care that a reasonable person would know is essential to life is also considered necessary to life, like the Alberta meningitis case, but this article really doesnt say wht the woman failed to provide so not really much to say on the topic
I do imagine that it wasnt a simple case o wanting to let mom die at home in peace, as that is usually understood, im thinking the woman had to be suffering for a while for them to lay charges but none of us really know what happened in this case
